Environment

Tends to perform well in moderate temperatures — roughly in the low-to-mid 70s°F (low-to-mid 20s°C) during lights-on, with a modest lights-off drop of around 5–10°F to encourage resin development. Relative humidity should be kept in the 45–55% range through vegetative growth, then stepped down to 40–45% (or lower) as dense flower clusters form in late flower to reduce mold pressure. Good horizontal airflow through the canopy is important given how tightly buds can stack — passive air circulation is rarely sufficient.

Training & canopy

Well-suited to topping and LST early in veg: its natural lateral branching means a topped plant will push out multiple even colas readily. A SCROG net is an excellent choice given the compact structure — filling a net with its side branches before the flip can yield a very even canopy. Avoid heavy defoliation all at once; thinning gradually through early flower is safer with dense OG-type plants.

Flowering

Expect a moderate stretch in the first 2–3 weeks of flower — typically less dramatic than a sativa-leaning strain, but still worth accounting for when flipping (keep some headroom). Buds tend to stack and swell noticeably in weeks 4–6, with resin production ramping up through weeks 6–8. Flowering duration for OG-dominant hybrids like this generally runs in the 8–9 week range, though individual phenotypes can run slightly longer. Trichome observation in the final 1–2 weeks is the most reliable finishing signal.

Difficulty

Dense bud structure and OG-typical feeding sensitivity reward growers with some environmental and nutrient management experience.
